Holocaust Educational Trust

Year 8 had the pleasure of attending a most inspirational talk by Steven Frank from the Holocaust Educational Trust. He shared his very personal and moving experiences with our students as they completed the Holocaust topic. We very much wish to thank Steven for the time he gave us.

Our Year 8’s completed their plans of a Holocaust Memorial Garden as the final piece in the Holocaust project. Santa Fun Run

Congratulations and thank you to the Discovery students who raised sponsorship with the Santa Fun Run before Christmas. The final amount raised for ‘Paulas cause’ is a massive £766.59

Inspire Day

Year 7 students took part in the Inspire Day on Friday, getting a taste of the world of work. Students had the opportunity learn about possible pathways they may wish to pursue in the future such as working in stocks and shares, archaeology, corporate banking, radio broadcasting and going to University. Many thanks to all the businesses and organisations who supported the day.

Love RupertBear X fundraising

Well done to Lucy from Year 8 who sang a solo from the Wizard of Oz to open the ‘Love RupertBear X’ fundraising in Tenterden at the weekend. Homewood School donated the Dorothy costume and constructed the rainbow set.
