Learning Support Assistant – Homewood School and Sixth Form Centre

NJC Scale 2/3 Points 3-6

28 hours per week, Term time only

Salary pro rata to £11,976 – £12,709 per annum

Temporary Contract

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and dedicated person to work closely with students aged 11–19 years who have a range of learning difficulties and/or disabilities. The successful candidate will be ideally confident to support student learning experiences according to need; this involves working with the classroom teachers to help students with reading, writing, verbal communication literacy and numeracy.

In return, you will enjoy a unique working environment in the heart of the Weald of Kent.  All learning support staff are provided with an IT device and ongoing training and support to help them excel and develop their career.  There is an independent nursery offering discounts to staff which is based on the school site.
