Are you a forward thinking and highly motivated Teacher of Geography and Travel and Tourism?

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who can inspire and motivate our Key Stage 3, GCSE and A Level students. We would welcome applications from NQT’s to experience Teachers. Prior experience of teaching Travel and Tourism would be an advantage. At Homewood School we encourage the use of a range of innovative teaching techniques for a positive impact and development of our students.

Our large Geography and Travel and Tourism department teaches a variety of qualifications including GCSE and A-Level Geography alongside Level 2 and 3 Travel and Tourism BTEC. The department also has a rich programme of trips, visits and extra-curricular activities including a forthcoming trip to Italy.

With our ethos of ‘Learning, Respect and Belonging’, we have high aspirations for everyone and expect everyone to contribute positively to the school by working hard and participating in school activities. We treat everyone as an individual and value personal strengths and qualities. Homewood School is part of Tenterden Schools’ Trust working in collaboration with local primary schools serving he beautiful Wealden town of Tenterden and the surrounding villages. All teaching staff are provided with an IT device and there is also a nursery based on the school site which offers discounts to Homewood Staff.
