Principal’s Message to Parents – 4th January 2021

Please note that as a result of the message from the Prime Minister on the 4th January announcing the closure of schools for the rest of this term an update will be shared with all parents and students in due course.

In the meantime, our plans for this particular week continue: Homewood remains open for vulnerable students, for the children of critical workers, for Key Skills students and for EHCP students (please see the Principal’s letter dated 31st December regarding the booking of places in these provisions). Remote education for all other students will continue as planned. As we have received no information to the contrary, we are expecting the January external examinations to go ahead and would therefore advise the Year 11 students, due to sit their Beauty examination tomorrow, to attend school as anticipated.

We are obviously awaiting further details to be published by the Government, particularly in lieu of the summer examination series for 2021 and will of course share these with you as soon as possible.

As always, thank you very much for your continued support and understanding.
