Teacher of History

Required from September 2020

Are you a qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of History?

We are looking for an excellent classroom practitioner who will bring creativity and enthusiasm to our well-established team. It is essential to work as part of a team and be willing to share and embrace new ideas. The successful candidate will have a passion for History which will be passed onto our students both in lessons and extra-curricular activities. The ability to offer a second humanities or social sciences specialism would be advantageous.

You will enjoy a unique working environment in the heart of the Weald of Kent and ongoing training and support to help you excel and develop where ever you are in your career as a teacher.  All teaching staff are provided with a MacBook Air and we offer a wide range of employee benefits via the Kent Rewards employee scheme.  Home Farm Children’s Nursery is based on the school site which also offers discounts to Homewood Staff.

Impress us from the outset by detailing your successes in your covering letter and get us excited about you.

An application form and more information can be accessed on our website – www.homewood-school.co.uk or please contact Mrs Karen Nicholls, Human Resources at vacancies@homewood.kent.sch.uk.  We are not recruiting through agencies for this post.

Closing date for applications: 2nd February 2020

We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all members of the community. Homewood School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all employees to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be asked to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure.
