Assistant Principal Teacher of Music
Required for September 2019
The successful candidate will take the lead role within the Music department working alongside their colleagues to inspire and develop musicians and provide the very best learning outcomes for our students. Leading by example you will be creative, innovative and provide motivation to our students and your team. We are a specialist Performing Arts school with excellent facilities including a professionally equipped and managed theatre and purpose built recording studio. We are looking to develop the department further and music technology and the ability to teach drama would be beneficial.
Working closely with the Head of Performing Arts you will run Departmental, staff and training sessions and ensure all aspects of the Departmental Development Plan are delivered. The successful candidate will be a facilitator of people at all levels and will develop strategies and initiatives that have longevity, relevance and meaning throughout the whole school.
