Author Mark Lowery Visiting Homewood

On Monday 11th June, award winning author Mark Lowery will be visiting Homewood School to speak to the Year 6 classes from the Tenterden Schools Trust and Year 7 students from Homewood. He will be giving creative writing tips and deliver a talk about the important things in life, like reading, writing…and doughnuts!

During his visit, Mark will be signing copies of his books — the Roman Garstang series (including The Jam Doughnut That Ruined My Life, which was shortlisted for the Children’s Book Award) – and his latest novel, Charlie and Me. The books will cost £6 each. If you’d like to make a purchase, your child should bring either cash or a cheque on the day (cheques made payable to FOOTNOTE BOOKS LTD).
